Nan’s Personal Message

Having that tooth extracted was like opening Pandora’s Box for me and my animals! Yes, we are so connected to our animal’s health and wellbeing (and vice versa), as we found out this month in our Essential Oil Intuition Clinics!

But no matter how challenging things became, I could still see the sprouts of growth along side the burning pile of ash. It is always the signs of regeneration that brings me hope and encouragement; and reminds me that is time to move to the next level of my life whether I come willingly or I am met with resistance. And of course, as always, I am very grateful to have so many wonderful essential oils to use and help us through those trials! Remember, there is always an oil that supports us on a physical, emotional and spiritual level no matter where we are.

If you missed the Intuition Clinics for People, Pets and Horses, we will be holding them again in the fall where they will be recorded for a DVD and be available with a workbook as well. We all learned so much about essential oils, ourselves, our animals; and how we can develop our intuition skills easily with practice. I am always amazed how behavioral patterning can change so quickly just by applying an essential oil, especially when it is just the right one for the situation!

Scents of Spring

The first oil that comes to mind for all of our spring challenges is Purification. Purification is a wonderful smelling oil that you can diffuse in the home, barn or office to purify and cleanse the air (physically and energetically). It is one of my favorite oils to use at the barn for flies, fleas, ticks, cuts, insect bites, fungus and more! It has a million uses!

Place it directly on a cut to disinfect (with Melrose), on an insect bite to neutralize poison (especially ant bites) or place it in a bottle with some distilled water to repel bugs, insects and mice! Depending on what I am fending off, I like to add either Palo Santo (flies and fleas), Idaho Tansy (flies), Peppermint (ants), Cedarwood (fleas), Geranium or Eucalyptus polybractea (insecticidal). Look on the website for the flea spritz and homemade fly spray recipes.

Purification contains citronella, lemongrass, rosemary cineol, melaleuca alternifolia (tea tree), Lavandin and myrtle. Citronella is a natural insecticide and helps to sanitize and deoderize surfaces. Lavandin, a hybrid of lavender, contains more camphor than lavender and is therefore more effective for bites and stings. It also has been used to sterilize animal cages in Europe. Lemongrass is an antiseptic and insect repellent besides being one of the best things to repair ligament damage. Rosemary has been used for thousands of years as a fumigant and to drive away negative forces along with infection. Tea Tree is well known as an anti-fungal, anti-bacterial and cleanser so it makes a perfect fit into this blend. Finally, myrtle, has antiseptic, astringent and deodorant properties making it ideal for infections and cleansing the air as well.

Interesting enough the emotion that is cleared using Purification according to Carolyn Mein’s book, Releasing of Emotional Patterning using Essential Oils, is anger which is stored in the liver! Other emotions that purification helps to release are fear of being alone, fear of rejections, and violence. See below for more.

Some of my other spring suggestions are: Lemon, Copaiba, Harmony, Lavender, Melrose, and Thieves. If you or your pet gets a tick bite apply Melrose and/or Thieves on the area immediately. Remember to put Palo Santo or Melrose directly on the tick until it lets go – don’t just pull off the tick! Use lavender, harmony and copaiba for allergies and itchy eyes. And use

Copaiba around eyes if you also see inflammation due to irritation. Always use it last as it enhances the other oils, like peppermint. And if you get oils in your eyes or your animals, use vegetable oil immediately, not water!!!!

Spiritual Aroma Message for Spring: Liver Cleansing

Therefore, during the spring we are asked to unblock emotional patterning and physical disease that is directly stored in the liver and gallbladder; or indirectly stored in the blood and spleen. If the liver is functioning well our Qi is flowing; and then our emotional state will be harmonious and it will easy to express our emotions. When the liver is toxic, stagnant, or there are energy blockages, then it can affect our emotional state negatively.

As I mentioned above, the emotion related to the liver is primarily anger but associated emotions that may come up are impatience, aggression, frustration or rebellion. When emotions come up remember to evaluate the root cause as to why they are being expressed; and use oils to help release them rather than repressing or stuffing them. This is the reason we create emotional blockages to begin with that often lead later to dysfunction in our lives or di-sease in our body.

Work with essential oils that help to nourish, cleanse and release toxins (emotional and physical) from the liver and gallbladder; and of course, drink tons of water! We are blessed with many essential oils that can help us to this end. Here are my top seven for liver cleansing!

• Helichrysum Essential Oil – Antioxidant, anti-catarrhal; anti-coagulant properties. Used for blood cleansing, detoxification, hematoma, liver cell function, lymph drainage, skin conditions and more. Helichrysum cuts through emotional blocks on a subtle and gentle level, making if very effective for animals.

• Ledum Essential Oil – Antibacterial, anticancerous, antiviral, anti-inflammatory, antitumoral, nerve stimulant, and liver protectant properties. Use for fatty liver, hepatitis (viral), hypothyroid, liver problems (toxic liver, support and detoxifier), lymph nodes (inflamed) and tumors. Ledum releases the emotions of dissatisfaction, anger and obsession.

• Juva Cleanse Essential Oil – This blend contains helichrysum, ledum and celery seed, three of the most powerful natural liver cleansing oils. Juva Cleanse clears the emotions of blame, bitterness and anger that are commonly stored in the gallbladder and liver.

• JuvaFlex Essential Oil –This blend contains six oils including geranium and helichrysum that support and build the liver and detoxify the lymphatic system. It also provides support for the digestive system. JuvaFlex clears the emotions of blame, unappreciated, deprived and rebellion that are associated with the liver.

• GLF Essential Oil – This blend contains six oils including grapefruit, helichrysum, ledum and spearmint that support the functioning of the gallbladder and the liver.

• Purification Essential Oil – This blend supports us in seeing our patterning as it relates to abandonment, rejection, or the fear of being alone. It also calms anger and conflict and brings back purity of thought and restores order.

New Products: Natural Radiation Poisoning and Prevention Kit

The best thing to do to limit the damage from radiation is to ramp up on your iodine, antioxidant and enzyme intake and support your thyroid. Young Living has established two kits to address these concerns directly and easily: Endoshield and Quadshield.

Both kits contain essential oils and antioxidant supplements that protect cells from radiation and free radical damage at a DNA level. Whether you have been exposed to radiation, showing signs of radiation sickness or you want to prevent the harmful effects of exposure to radiation please check into these kits. They are also effective for ionizing (nuclear radioactivity, X-Rays) and non-ionizing radiation (phones, radio, microwave, and computer).

I personally have been taking 3 to 4 grams of Vitamin C, 1 to 2 grams of liquid iodine (potassium iodide), 1-2 Thyromin capsules, 1 Longevity capsule, 2 ounces of Ninxgia Red and multiple enzymes to keep my endocrine and immune system supported. I have been placing liquid iodine in my animal’s water and ramping up their enzyme intake as well. I have found that Melrose and EndoFlex have been extremely supportive also. I have been placing Melrose and Longevity oils (in lieu of the supplement) on my horse’s hooves.

News from the Field

I completed and passed my return demonstration in March with Dr. David Stewart, to obtain my certification for Raindrop through CARE. It was an honor to meet one of my mentors and I appreciated his great feedback and support.

In a continuing effort to become a Certified CARE Instructor (CCI), I will be assisting teaching with Christina Hagan in Lakeland in June where a CARE Intensive will be held. I am also teaching Vita Flex and Raindrop classes on a monthly basis in Jupiter to keep my skills up. While these are not certification classes, they are of CARE format, so you will learn all the skills necessary to do Vita Flex and Raindrop at home with a substantial cost savings!

Nan as Monthly Contributor for Holistic Horse Magazine

Starting with the June issue, I will be writing a monthly article for Holistic Horse Magazine! I am so excited to reach more essential oil and horse lovers across America! For those who are not familiar with Holistic Horse, it is a fantastic magazine that offers monthly articles on acupuncture, nutrition and now, essential oils for horses!

The intuition clinics for people, pets and equines offered a fantastic opportunity in South Florida to learn about our emotional patterning, intuition and essential oils. Barbara Rasor, an international emotional intuitive and instructor at Holos University, who has been professionally perfecting the art of intuition for more than twenty-five years, joined me in teaching both classes.

In both clinics, participants learned various techniques on how to intuit oils for themselves or their animal; and had the opportunity to see it first hand. In the Equine Clinic, we worked with Leah Winston and Amintus, a Lusitano Stallion, owned by Sherie Zobec, to witness the changes in his movement and behavior as we worked with different energy patterns an essential oils.

In the People and Pets Clinic, once again we were able to learn how to choose oils to shift negative patterning in ourselves and our animals instantly. We learned how most often our issues, our children and our animals’ issues are so intertwined that sometimes it is hard to differentiate the root cause of the patterning. The good news is that if we are working on our animal’s stuff it helps us too!

I want to thank our Presenting Sponsor, Laura Hanson Virginia of Merrill Lynch Financial Services, who ultimately helped us launch these new cutting edge intuition oil clinics in South Florida. I have successfully been processing international oil orders, but please contact me direct if you would like to do so with your address and the list of products you would like. Many items can not be shipped overseas or are not available out of the European or Australian warehouses. If orders need to be processed from the United States than unfortunately the shipping costs are expensive, but can be reduced if placing a large order.

Remember, most of the time when I am offering advice it is based on experience or from reference guides. To get more specific and narrow done the range of oils that are available for a certain emotional or physical condition, it is necessary for me to “read or intuit” the subtle energies of the body to tell you exactly what oils will create the change you are looking for.

What does that mean for Essential Oil Lovers?

Faster, quicker, better results that will ultimately save you money! The e-mail readings will be $30 and will provide up to 150 words. I will answer one question so get as specific as possible. I will provide a few sentences on the information I receive as well. Please provide a short explanation of the situation whether physical or emotional and their name, etc. Example – My dog, Linus, has separation anxiety, what essential oils will help him eliminate or cope with this circumstance?

Why should I schedule an Intuitive Session by Phone, In Person or through Skype?

More complicated issues, require a 30 or 60 minute intuitive session where we not only find what oils will work for your certain situations, but energetically we can start to shift the patterns and re-establish new healthy programming during the session. Working with someone in this capacity can accelerate learning and healing exponentially; and provide the support we need from someone who has been there. I can guarantee you will be in awe of the work and excited about the changes you can make so quickly!
