There are two capsules that come in the enzyme pack. A list of the natural ingredients as well as the essential oils in each capsule is listed below.

The yellow capsule in Essentialzymes-4 Digestive Enzymes Supplement contains these ingredients:

• Protease 3, 4.5 and 6 - Enzymes that support the digestion of protein*.
  
• Amylase Enzymes - Enzymes that support the digestion of starch, carbohydrates and sugars*.
  
• Cellulase enzyme – Assists in the digestion of plant material*.
  
• Lipase Enzyme– Enzyme that supports the digestion of fat*.
  
• Peptidase Enzyme– Helps to break down proteins into amino acids. Form of protease*.
  
• Phytase Enzyme – Catalyzes phytic acid which is found in foods containing phosphorous including grains and oil seeds.
  
• Bromelain Enzyme – comes from pineapple stems
  
• Papain – is a plant derived enzyme from papaya. The uses of papain include supporting the breaking down of hard to digest proteins such as beef and pork.

What are the Documented Uses for Essentialzymes-4 Digestive Enzymes Supplement? Healthy digestion and digestive system*. Support enzymatic activity in the body*.

How Do I Use It?

Take two capsules (one dual dose blister pack) two times daily with largest meals (four capsules total). Take in between meals to support the body's overall enzyme activity and support healthy pancreatic function*. Keep out of reach of children.

Can this Product be Used for Animals? Yes, although I recommend Essentialzymes and Allerzyme Enzymes way more frequently than these enzymes especially since there are 2 different capsules to deal with. Horses I definitely use Essentialzymes.

But I would use about sprinkle to 1/4 capsule each for a cat; 1/4 to 1/2 each capsule for small dogs; 1/2 capsule each for a medium dog; and 1 capsule each per day for large dogs. Split the amount up and feed with each meal.

Note About Animals: Certain oils can be very toxic to cats especially when poor quality oils are used. Citrus products and oils in particular that are not of therapeutic grade. Please consult your vet if you are not sure about applying any essential oil to your pet.
